Filmmaker’s Biography

Idit Avrahami is an acclaimed documentary director. She is the director and co-creator of documentary series THE BARNOAR for Keshet and KI about the murders at a gay youth bar in Israel; other credits include FABRIC STORIES (series, yesDocu), SELFIES (Channel 8), THE JOURNALISTS (series, yesDocu) which premiered at DocAviv Festival, and THE BOY WHO DIED OF FEAR (documentary feature, yesDocu). Her short documentary INSTITUTIONAL ABDUCTION premiered at the Venice Biennale 2019. Idit graduated with honors from the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School in Jerusalem, where she currently teaches Documentary Film Direction. 

Noam Sheizaf has worked for years in political journalism and documentary film. He is the head of research and content for Dir. Dror Moreh’s THE CORRIDORS OF POWER, and THE HUMAN FACTOR; script writer for LIEBERMAN (Dir. Nurit Keidar), and director of MESHULAM for Channel 8, Kan and Haifa FF. His journalism credits include research editor and deputy editor for Maariv Magazine, writer for Ha'aretz, and Yedioth Ahronoth among others. Sheizaf and was the Editor in Chief of +972 Magazine — a news and opinion webzine presenting a young voice in the international political debate.
